How To Cook What You Grow

There’s no point in growing wholesome fresh produce and then spoiling it by not knowing what to do with it. If you grow your own vegetables then you are going to be interested in the quality of the food you are cooking and eating. Having spent all your time growing the perfect cabbage, you don't really want to boil the life (and goodness) out of it for 2 hours!

So we have put together this page that we hope will help you find something to do with your crop, you may have a glut of one thing or another so check out these recipes to see what to do with it.

"It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others."

"It's always darkest before dawn. So if you're going to steal from your neighbour, that's the time to do it."

"It's lonely at the top, but you eat better."

These are some favourite recipes and those contributed by friends over the years. Hopefully they'll help you out and prove useful when you've a glut coming in from the plot. This is not the only resource you may have but it is a start…..
The idea of this page is that these are YOUR recipes and that you can share these with other allotmenteers who also share your passion for growing.
